Brisbane Super Kings (BSK) is Brisbane’s first and only multicultural cricket club, established in 2012 to provide a platform for nurturing cricketing talent—particularly among the local community of subcontinent origin.
Based in South Brisbane, BSK was founded with the vision of creating a friendly, supportive, and competitive cricketing environment. The club’s name draws inspiration from the success of the Indian Premier League’s Chennai Super Kings (CSK). Just as CSK captured the hearts of millions of cricket lovers, BSK aims to build the same sense of pride, loyalty, and community spirit among cricket enthusiasts in Brisbane.
From the very beginning, BSK has been committed to upholding the true spirit of cricket, valuing sportsmanship, teamwork, and respect above all. The club welcomes players of all ages, backgrounds, and skill levels, ensuring there are no barriers to participation for anyone who shares a love for the game.
Over the years, BSK has grown rapidly, becoming a well-known name not only within the Indian community but across Brisbane’s wider multicultural sporting circles. Today, the club proudly fields multiple senior and junior teams, has a thriving junior development program with over 320 young cricketers, and boasts high-quality training facilities to support skill development and competitive success.
Whether you’re a seasoned cricketer or picking up a bat for the first time, BSK offers a welcoming home where cricket is more than just a game. It’s a community.
